Actress Leah Purcell to direct and star in new Australian film

Australian actress Leah Purcell is the first Indigenous woman to write, direct, co-produce and star in an Australian feature film.

Her film, The Drover’s Wife: The Legend of Molly Johnson, is a riveting reinterpretation of Henry Lawson’s classic 1892 short story.
