Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and others will reportedly attend Karan Johar’s 50th birthday party

Karan Johar turns 50 later this month. He’s all set to celebrate his birthday with a lavish, star-studded party. The birthday celebration will reportedly witness the presence of some of the biggest names in Bollywood namely Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone.

The renowned filmmaker who turns 50 on May 25 recently made headlines when he announced that his famous talk show Koffee with Karan has come to an end. It was later discovered that he was playing a prank and the show will be released on OTT platforms. With a revamp of his talk show and movies in the pipeline like Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani, Karan Johar is in a party mood.

A source told Times of India: “The theme of his star-studded party is black and bling. All the directors who have worked under Dharma Productions will be in attendance.” Media reports have also suggested that the biggest names in Bollywood have been invited. Stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone have been invited, while newlyweds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are also allowed to attend the birthday party.

On the work front, Karan Johar is currently working on Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt. This film is their second collaboration after Gully Boy.
