Miracles await at la Ventanita in Fontainebleau Miami Beach

Brugal 1888 rum hosts its next “Wonders Await at la Ventanita” – a rotating neighborhood pop-up series inspired by Miami’s coffee culture – in the lobby of Fontainebleau Miami Beach, just in time for Formula 1 weekend, featuring art installations from the worldwide known Mexican artist Cesar Menchaca of Menchaca Studio. Enjoy afternoon cafecito and pastries (2-4pm), plus a lively Brugal 1888 rum bar (2-4pm) all weekend. Taste of Haiti

This Saturday, the seventh annual Taste of Haiti returns to Miami. Hosted by the City of North Miami Beach and the NMB Community Redevelopment Agency (NMBCRA), the open-air culinary festival takes place in front of the NMB City Hall building and highlights Haiti’s rich flavors, cuisine, and culture. Expect live music, special performances, craft vendors, food trucks, cooking demos, chef competitions, and a Haitian art exhibit, among other things. This event is free and open to the public. Race day Sunday Viewing party at the Freehold

On Sunday, the Hard Rock Stadium will crown the winner of the inaugural Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix. The action takes place at the Miami International Autodrome, a temporary circuit built around the stadium that is more than three miles long and includes 19 turns. Tickets have long sold out, but if you want to see the race in a communal setting, head to the Freehold on Sunday for the Race Day Sunday viewing party. It’s free to attend, but if you want to enjoy an open bar with bottomless brunch cocktails, good drinks, and draft beer for the duration of the race, you’ll pay $40.
