When is Newcastle coming out in Apex Legends?

The 13th season of Apex Legends, titled Saviors, is around the corner, bringing with it a new legend known as Newcastle. Newcastle is a defensive powerhouse, equipped with the ability to plunge into the heat of battle and protect allies with shields of all shapes and sizes. His more aggressive style of play gives players more accustomed to the speed of attacking legends a home among the more fortified legends.

Newcastle’s chivalrous disposition may become a heroic figure in his hometown of Harris Valley on Solace, but the new legend is hiding dark secrets that will unfold as the season progresses. Newcastle’s real name is Jackson Williams, and he is an IMC deserter and on top of that, he is Bangalore’s long presumed deceased older brother. Bangalore was quick to uncover the truth, but whether he can keep his identity safely hidden from other prying eyes remains to be seen.

As for gameplay, his gear combines mobility with defense. The shields he deploys can be countered and destroyed, but they benefit from versatility. He can move and protect allies while breathing new life into them, summon drones that generate a portable, mobile shield, and even leap into a target area to deploy massive fortifications in a tricky situation.
